TOPIC: "BASIC class on AppleScript"
SPEAKER: Brian Lawler
This month Brian Lawler will have a BASIC class on AppleScript. Members should bring their Mac laptop computers. AppleScript will do nothing on iPads.
“Changing of the guard…”:
Alan Raul announced with great regret that he must resign from his President position with SLOMUG.
Due to personal issues, I find that I am no longer able to devote the time necessary to fulfill my duties. I have enjoyed being the President for the last three years and will continue to do whatever I can to contribute to SLOMUG. I will be available in 2015 as an occasional speaker if needed.
I will be available in the next couple of months to help make a smooth transition to whoever accepts the President position.
This will take affect at the end of the year.
What does this mean for SLOMUG?
In order for SLOMUG to continue a person or persons must come forward and take control of the club. If no one volunteers then SLOMUG will fail to exist.
The sooner someone comes forward to fill the position, the better.
SLOMUG does have deadlines...
We must reserve the library on November 1st for the 2015 dates of:
January, February, March, April, May
Our http://www.islomug.com/ web site expires and must be renewed on or before by January 1, 2015.
December - No Meeting
